<p>Discloses is a soil repellent composition imparting soil resistance on a fibrous substrate comprising a water-based mixture of: (a) a fluorochemical, (b) a silsesquioxane containing sol, and (c) a lubricity - enhancing agent selected from aminosilicones, silicones, polyalkylene glycols, polyalkylene waxes, partiallyoxidized polyalkylene waxes, lanolin and lanolin derivatives, fatty acids, oxidized or functionalized polyolefins, and stearates. Also disclosed is a method of imparting soil resistance to a fibre and a fibrous substrate treated with the composition.</p> |
