摘要 <p>The invention relates to an automatic system for adjusting the rotary speed of aircraft wheels upon landing, with a view to reducing the tire wear by eliminating the very high friction forces between the tire and the landing runway, when these are in contact. According to the invention, the system consists of a controller () surveying a flow () of energy supplying an electric motor () and which entrains, directly or by means of a reducing/multiplying mechanism, a shaft () having mounted thereon the paired wheels of the main landing gear, or of the wheel/pair of wheels on the aircraft nose landing gear, the controller () having as input parameters the landing velocity (), the position of the landing gear (), some pressure sensors () on the arm/arms supporting the aircraft on the landing gear, in order to know when the aircraft reached the runway, the flight altitude (), the rotary speed () of the wheel/pair of wheels taken over from a rotation transducer as a negative reaction.</p>
