The device (12) has an air outlet chamber connected with an air inlet chamber to supply air to a ventilator. The air inlet chamber and the air outlet chamber are arranged in a housing. The housing comprises a water outlet (48) and determines an interior space (50) that is divided by an intermediate compartmentalization wall (51). The compartmentalization wall separates the air inlet chamber from the air outlet chamber by forming a baffle so as to allow circulation of air from the air inlet chamber to the air outlet chamber by raising the air in the baffle.
