The device (4) has a radiator (8), and a connection unit i.e. double hinge (20), for pivotally connecting the device with an engine compartment of a motor vehicle (2) according to a pivot axis (18). A set of coupling units i.e. set of pins (54), couples the device to a bonnet (28) to allow pivoting of the device during opening of the bonnet. The coupling units are controlled by a handle that is mounted on the engine compartment of the vehicle. Two rotary hydraulic connectors (22) are arranged in parallel according to a rotational axis aligned with the pivot axis of the device. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle.
