A snap button with a locking notch. The notch gives the snap button superior locking quality over the prior art versions. The notch allows the user to use the snap button in applications that have a need for maintaining the locked piping secure. The only way to release the instant invention is by downward pressure provided by a user. In applications where segments are joined together the snap button of this invention prevents separation. Not only does the snap button secure the two ends but the notch gives a greater locking power preventing separation.
