Disclosed is an apparatus for use in a drainage assembly in a substrate having a waterstop arrangement and a drain. The apparatus includes a water collector with an inner side defining an inner accumulator and an outer side defining an outer accumulator. The outer side is configured for engaging the waterstop arrangement. The apparatus has an outlet arranged in independent fluid communication with both accumulators. The outlet is operatively arranged in fluid communication with the drain. The apparatus has a barrier receptacle configured for receiving a barrier to operatively extend from the substrate between the inner accumulator and outer accumulator.
