Automatic feed magazine for use with a nail gun or driver

Disclosed is a magazine for use with a nail-driving tool with increase storage capacity. The magazine comprises storing means for receiving and storing a plurality of nail strips in a stacked parallel storage planes side-by-side relationship relative to one another, each the nail strip comprising a plurality of collated nails, and each nail having a head and a shank. There is a means for driving the nail strips along a feeding plane towards an outlet end of the magazine for feeding the tool with the nails in the strips, the feeding plane being roughly perpendicular or non-parallel or at some angle to the storage plane of each the nail strip stacked in the storing means. There is a transport means for taking one nail strip out of the plurality of stored nail strips and moving the one nail strip towards the outlet end. A pivoting station of an edge for retaining the heads of the nails of the nail strip to be pivoted, and two guiding walls for guiding the nails of the pivoted nail strip, one of the guiding walls being movable for enabling the nails to pivot under gravity about the edge. The pivoting station is arranged for pivoting the one nail strip transported from the transport means into the feeding plane to be subsequently driven along the feeding plane by the driving means from the pivoting station towards the outlet end.
