<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new zinc alkoxy complex producible by a simple method, excellent in solubility and stability to various organic solvents, and useful as a catalyst and the like for ring-opening copolymerization of an epoxy compound and carbon dioxide. <P>SOLUTION: The zinc alkoxy complex is represented by formula (3): Zn<SB POS="POST">2</SB>M<SB POS="POST">x</SB>L<SB POS="POST">y</SB>(OR)<SB POS="POST">z</SB>. In the formula, M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of metal elements belonging to the group 13 in the periodic table; L is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of β-diketo compounds; R is a 2-20C unsubstituted/substituted alkyl group (provided that an isopropyl group is excluded); x is a number of 1.5-3; and y and z are each independently a number of 4-9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
