<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the maintainability of a humidifying means, concerning a humidifier and an air cleaner with a humidifying function. <P>SOLUTION: The humidifier includes a body case 6 with an air inlet 4 and an exhaust outlet 5, a blower 7 in a humidifying air passage 15 in the body case 6, a humidifying container 12 arranged in the humidifying air passage 15, and a humidification body 13 the lower end of which is immersed in a humidifying water 11 in the humidifying container 12, wherein the humidification body is secured to a plurality of supporting rods 20 for fixing a shape thereof, and also a securing position stabilization means is included for stabilizing the position of the humidification body 13 at the humidification body 13 and/or the support rods 20.
