<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cooling tower for achieving a simple constitution, by protecting a wall surface of a tower inner peripheral surface while reducing a pressure loss. <P>SOLUTION: A nozzle is a bottomed cylindrical shape with the tip side in the projecting direction to the tower inner peripheral side as a bottom part, and has an upper side opening part opening on the vertical upper side of the tower and a lower side opening part opening on the vertical lower side of the cylindrical side surface, and a substantially central part in the nozzle axis direction of an opening part is eccentrically arranged on the root part side of the nozzle to the axis of the tower. The bottom part of the tower is a storage part for temporarily storing liquid supplied from a water sprinkling pipe and flowed along an inner peripheral surface, and a surface of the stored liquid is positioned on the vertical lower side of the nozzle, and assuming a distance to a vertical upper side top part of a gas cooling tower inner peripheral surface from the nozzle as H1, and a distance to a liquid surface of the stored liquid from the nozzle as H2, H1>H2 is satisfied, and a side end part in the nozzle tip direction of the lower side opening part, is positioned on the root part side more than the side end part in the nozzle tip direction of the upper side opening part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
