<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liposome for cosmetic, providing smooth touch feeling without sticky feeling, having excellent stability and moist-keeping properties, and further having excellent properties to be formulated with alcohols and various kinds of surfactants which are often formulated with the cosmetic in general, and to provide the cosmetic. <P>SOLUTION: The liposome for the cosmetic includes 10-50 pts.mass of component B, 0.1-5 pts.mass of component C, and 5-50 pts.mass of component D and 100 pts.mass of component A, and has an average particle diameter of 50-500 nm. Component A is a hydrogenated soybean phospholipid having ≥90 mass% of the content of phosphatidylcholine; component B is cholesterol; component C is N-acylamino acid salt; component D is a copolymer of 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine (MPC) and butyl methacrylate (BMA) in a molar ratio (MPC/BMA) of from 9/1 to 3/7.
