摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion element in which the power factor of strontium titanate is enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: A thermoelectric conversion element 20 has a thin film 23F formed on a substrate 13 and composed of a compound of perovskite structure having a general formula ABO<SB POS="POST">3</SB>. When A is Sr and B is Ti in the compound, and the total amount of dopants La and Nb is increased by 10% or more in the atomic ratio Ad+Bd for the whole positive ions, i.e. the (MAd+MBd/(MSr+MAd+MTi+MBd), the electric conductivity &sigma; increases and the power factor PF also increases. When the value of ratio B/(A+B) exceeds 0.51, hall mobility of carriers decreases to 0.5 cm2/Vs or lower and since the electric conductivity &sigma; decreases, the ratio B/(A+B) in the term of electric conductivity &sigma; of the power factor PF is 0.48-0.51 (0.48&le;(MTi+MBd)/(MSr+MAd+MTi+MBd)&le;0.51). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
