PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device that can eliminate thermal noise.

SOLUTION: A solid-state imaging device comprises: a plurality of pixel circuits that are arranged in a matrix, have a photo diode and a floating diffusion layer, and output a first initialization signal corresponding to an initialized floating diffusion layer and a first image signal in response to a received light amount; column signal lines that are provided for each column and transmit first initialization signals and the first image signals from the plurality of pixel circuits; a plurality of first holding circuits 2a that hold the first initialization signals and the first image signals transmitted from the corresponding pixel circuits through the column signal lines; and difference circuits that are provided for each column and are connected to the first holding circuits and the column signal lines.
