<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive multi-core optical fiber holder and holder body part which is capable of accurately positioning optical fibers and allows the increase of a processing speed and the reduction of costs. <P>SOLUTION: A multi-core optical fiber holder 10 includes a plurality of optical fibers 21, a ferrule 41 being a multi-core holder body part holding the plurality of optical fibers 21, and a junction member 51 which joins the optical fibers 21 to the ferrule 41. The ferrule 41 has groove parts 31 which are arranged so as to position the optical fibers 21 in an X-axis direction and a Y-axis direction and of which the number is at least equal to or more than the number of optical fibers 21 so as to correspond to the number of optical fibers 21.
