<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily adjust the stroke of a release button by him/herself. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus that performs an imaging preparation operation upon a first stroke of the release button and an imaging operation upon a second stroke done by depressing the release button following the first stroke includes: detection means for detecting a depressing stroke of the release button; storage means for storing the depressing stroke of the release button detected by the detection means; setting means for setting the depressing strokes stored in the storage means as the first stroke and the second stroke of the release button respectively; and control means for controlling the imaging preparation operation with the first stroke of the release button set by the setting means and controlling the imaging operation with the second stroke of the release button set by the setting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
