<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease an energy necessary for separating a carbon dioxide from a cooled gas containing the carbon dioxide, and to separate the high-concentration carbon dioxide. <P>SOLUTION: A carbon dioxide separation device includes: a supersonic nozzle 5 which adiabatically expands the gas for a refrigerant to make it cold; a channel 3 for the cooled gas that contains the carbon dioxide, arranged to be heat-exchangeable with the gas for the refrigerant that has been made cool; and a gas-solid separation tank 8 which separates the carbon dioxide solidified or condensed in the channel 3 from the cooled gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
