<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical component housing tray which can facilitate the pickup of an optical component stored in the tray, and can protect the optical component from being cut or scratched during storage or transportation and the attachment of a foreign matter to the component. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical component housing tray which houses an optical component having a lens, a mirror cylinder holding the lens, and a collar disposed at one end face of the mirror cylinder includes a top face supporting the collar, a recess with an opening at its top in which the mirror cylinder is placed, and a sidewall and a bottom face which form the recess, the bottom face is formed to be opposite to the lens across a gap, and the sidewall is made into a forward tapered shape that makes the area of the opening larger than the area of the bottom face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
