<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which conveniently generates ultrasonic image data with high azimuthal resolution in accordance with a depth by a simple circuit structure and with high power supply efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission part 12, in accordance with an acquisition depth of the ultrasonic image data set by a control part, sets output timing of transmission ultrasound of a plurality of transducers 21a respectively by having n pieces of the adjacent transducers 21a out of the plurality of the transducers 21a as one set so as to switch the amount of shift of the phase of the transmission ultrasound within the set at least between a first phase amount to emphasize a frequency component that is n times as large as a base wave component by reducing the base wave component contained in the transmission ultrasound and a second phase amount to emphasize the base wave component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
