The device has holders whose outer longitudinal sides are designed as sliding surfaces (14). One of the longitudinal sides pointing towards an opening side of a housing of a tool holder works together with a guiding rail (16) arranged in the housing. Another longitudinal side acts directly or indirectly with a guiding surface (17) of the housing. A distance guiding rail is arranged between the guiding surface and the sliding surfaces. The holders work together with a stopper that is attached to a clamping slide, which retains a proximal sided retainer (6) i.e. round pin.
