Provided is a driving device capable of narrowing the frame of a display device and accurately applying an intended voltage to an auxiliary capacitor, and also provided is a display device equipped with the driving device. The driving device includes stabilized power supply units (regulators (711, 712)) for supplying a power supply voltage to a buffer unit (21). The stabilized power supply units generate voltages (VCSH, VCSL) using a voltage (AVCH) greater than or equal to the voltages (VCSH, VCSL) and a voltage (AVCL) less than or equal to the voltages (VCSH, VCSL) as a power supply voltage and supplies the generated voltages (VCSH, VCSL) to the buffer unit (21). This makes it possible for the buffer unit (21) to apply an auxiliary capacitor driving voltage having an expected voltage value to an auxiliary capacitor line without thickening the wiring for supplying the power supply voltage to the buffer unit (21).
