<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-board camera system capable of transmitting data of an image necessary for maintenance inspection or the like using a tester connection signal OBD-II as an international standard. <P>SOLUTION: An on-board camera system comprises: imaging means that captures an image; communication means that performs information communication with a test device using an OBD-II connection line; and image compression means that divides the image captured by the imaging means into partitions with a predetermined number of pixels, performs image compression on respective images of the divided partitions, and transmits the images of the partitions subjected to the image compression to the test device via the communication means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
