<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a b-contact type fixed contact provided on a frame of a contact unit of an electromagnetic contactor so that the number of parts and the assembly man-hour are reduced and the support for frame is strengthened. <P>SOLUTION: In an electromagnetic contactor, terminal pedestals 1a corresponding to respective electrodes and inter-electrode partition walls 1b installed upright on right and left sides of the respective terminal pedestals are provided on a resin unit frame 1 that has a contact unit composed of pairs of a b-contact type fixed contact 2 and a movable contact mounted thereon, with the fixed contacts held and fixed to the terminal pedestals. The b-contact type fixed contact 2 is integrally formed with a terminal plate 2a in which a terminal screw 5 is screwed and a contact stand 2b extending upright from the rear end of the terminal plate, and is a press-processed product equipped with press-fitting projection parts 2d at right and left side ends of the terminal plate 2a. On the other hand, engaging recess grooves 1c in which the right and left side ends of the terminal plate 2a are fit are formed in the inter-electrode partition walls 1b of the unit frame 1, so that the press-fitting projection parts 2d are press-inserted in the engaging recess grooves 1c of the inter-electrode partition walls 1b during attachment of the fixed contacts 2 to hold and fix the fixed contacts 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
