<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow stations to be arranged in a wide area to be efficiently accommodated in a ring network. <P>SOLUTION: A relay station for relaying data between multiple ring networks includes: a first transmission/reception circuit for transmitting/receiving data with the first ring network of the multiple ring networks; a second transmission/reception circuit for transmitting/receiving data with the second ring network of the multiple ring networks; and a switch for inputting the data to the second transmission/reception circuit when the destination of the data received by the first transmission/reception circuit is a station included in the second ring network, and inputting the data to the first transmission/reception circuit when the destination of the data received by the second transmission/reception circuit is a station included in the first ring network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
