<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prompt confirmation, management and the like of a failure recovery state by distributing failure information not only to a maintenance center but also to users and communication carriers. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing system includes a monitoring server, a recovery support server, and a line database. The monitoring server comprises monitoring means that monitors a failure in a user communication environment, and notification means that gives an alarm indicating occurence of a failure to the recovery support server. The recovery support server comprises identification means that identifies the user communication environment in which the failure has occurred from the alarm by referring to the line database, alarm distribution means that distributes the alarm to a plurality of terminals controlling the user communication environment, reception means that receives confirmation results responding to the distributed alarm from the terminals, determination means that determines an action to be executed on the terminal side based on the confirmation results, and transmission means that transmits the action determined by the determination means to the terminals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
