摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control EGR gas to an appropriate amount even in case the operation condition of an internal combustion engine changes. <P>SOLUTION: A control system is applied to the internal combustion engine including a first exhaust reflux means and a second exhaust reflux means. A reflux gas amount controller which the control system includes feedback-controls a first reflux gas amount recirculated by the first exhaust reflux means by means of a first feedback amount and feedback-controls a second reflux gas amount recirculated by the second exhaust reflux means by means of a second feedback amount. The reflux gas amount controller modifies the first feedback amount so that an absolute value of an anticipated first reflux gas amount gradient becomes small in case it becomes clear that the absolute value of the anticipated first reflux gas amount gradient is larger than a prescribed first threshold value and modifies the second feedback amount so that the absolute value of a second reflux gas amount gradient becomes small in case it becomes clear that the absolute value of the anticipated second reflux gas amount gradient is larger than a prescribed second threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
