<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a turbo lag while satisfying a requirement of space saving and cost reduction, in an engine mounted with an exhaust turbine type supercharger. <P>SOLUTION: There are arranged: an introduction passage 38 which seals activated carbon for increasing an air storage amount into a pressure accumulation tank 37, and introduces air to the pressure accumulation tank 37 from the downstream of a compressor 19 in an intake pipe 12; a supply passage 40 in which an on-off valve 39 for opening and closing the introduction passage 38, and which supplies air to the upstream side of an exhaust turbine 18 in an exhaust pipe 15 from the pressure accumulation tank 37; and a flow-rate adjusting valve 41 which adjusts a flow rate of air flowing in the supply passage 40. Then, a fuel injection amount is increasingly corrected at the requirement of the rapid acceleration of the engine 11, supercharging assist control for supplying air to the upstream side of the exhaust turbine 18 from the pressure accumulation tank 37 is executed, a non-combusted component in an exhaust gas is combusted at the upstream side of the exhaust turbine 18, and the rotation speed of the exhaust turbine 18 is increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
