<p>The purpose of the present invention is to increase the cooling efficiency of a switching element while suppressing an increase in the size of a power tool. This power tool is provided, within a body housing (30), with a motor (1) in which a rotor (6) is surrounded by a cylindrical stator (7), a circuit board (10) comprising a switching element (11) that controls the rotation of the rotor (6), a heat radiating member (12) to which heat is transferred from the switching element (11), a cooling fan (9) that generates a cooling airflow, and a cooling airflow path (R) through which the cooling airflow passes. The cooling airflow path (R) is disposed so that the cooling airflow flows from the central section to the peripheral section of the heat radiating member (12) and thereafter past the front surface of the circuit board (10).</p> |
