PURPOSE: A method for transmitting and receiving multicast data in a wireless communication system and a device thereof are provided to efficiently receive and transmit M2M multicast data, thereby increasing communication performance. CONSTITUTION: An M2M(Machine to Machine) device receives M2M multicast connection identifier information for an M2M multicast service allocated to the M2M device(S310). The M2M device receives a message with control information about multicast data transmission from the base station(S330). The M2M device receives multicast data with the M2M multicast connection identifier information from the base station by the message(S350). The M2M device compares the M2M multicast connection identifier information of the multicast data with the allocated M2M multicast connection identifier information.
