<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an information providing system, and a program, in which a boundary center is placed closer to a position specified by using positional information specifying a position of an image element, when embedding in an image a boundary that contains a required number of feature points to distinguish between image elements associated with information to be provided to a user, in comparison to the case not having the present configuration. <P>SOLUTION: When a size and a position on an image are determined of a feature boundary, which contains an anchor specifying a position for associating a marker with an image and which contains a media icon whose position is determined by the anchor, the determination is carried out such that the feature boundary contains a prescribed number or more of feature points to make images distinguishable and a radius of the feature boundary and a distance between a center point of the feature boundary and the anchor are adjusted to give a minimum sum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
