DISPLAY DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a good yield with a small number of masks by simultaneously forming a thin film transistor and a terminal connection part in an active-matrix substrate.

SOLUTION: A display device includes a pixel part and an external input terminal. The pixel part comprises a TFT including: a gate electrode; a semiconductor film; an insulating film formed on the gate electrode; and an electrode electrically connected to the semiconductor film on the insulating film. The external input terminal comprises: a first wiring formed on the same layer as the gate electrode; a second wiring formed on the same layer as the electrode and connected to the first wiring via a contact hole formed through the insulating film; a transparent conductive film connected to the second wiring and formed on the second wiring; and a flexible printed wiring board electrically connected to the transparent conductive film at a position where the second wiring is connected to the transparent conductive film.
