<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably detect multiple feed applicable to various sheets. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet conveyance device includes: a transmitter 102 that irradiates ultrasonic wave from at least one of two directions to the sheet P to be conveyed; a detection sensor 103 that detects a sonic wave irradiated from the sheet P according to the irradiated ultrasonic waves; and a CPU 110 that detects whether the sheet P is redundantly fed based on strength of the sonic wave detected according to the ultrasonic waves irradiated from at least one direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
