<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle mounted camera that can prevent a pedestrian from being injured by covering a protrusion of the camera without enlarging the retro-fit camera. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle mounted camera 10 includes: a front cover 20 involving a camera module 15; a rear cover 30 that is screwed to the front cover 20 and has a round upper part; and a fixation part 40 including a body part 41 abutting on the rear cover 30 to be screwed, and a bend 42 where both ends of the body part 41 are bent toward the rear cover 30.
