<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform data authentication of a plurality of network apparatuses having different characters via a network communication line by using appropriate authentication methods without considering each character of the network apparatus in advance. <P>SOLUTION: A data transmission device comprises an authenticator generation unit and a communication unit. The authenticator generation unit generates a first authenticator by using a first encryption key 4001a and generates a second authenticator including first to n-th pieces of fragment information by using a second encryption key 4002a. The communication unit transmits a first packet 501 including the first authenticator and the first fragment information to a transmission destination apparatus. After transmitting the first packet 501, if the communication unit does not receive a response 601 indicating success of authentication from the transmission destination apparatus in a predetermined period of time, the communication unit transmits i-th packets 502 and 503 (i is an integer which is equal to or greater than 2 and is equal to or smaller than n) including the i-th fragment information to the transmission destination apparatus in order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
