SYSTEM AND PROCESS FOR THERMOCHEMICAL TREATMENT OF MATTER CONTAINING ORGANIC COMPOUNDS

The present document describes a system for thermochemical treatment of organic compounds such as biomass in the form of animal droppings comprising a feedstock reservoir, thermochemical reaction chamber having a heat source, a feeder having at least one auger, a separation chamber and a controller. The controller is coupled to the reaction chamber and/or separation chamber. The system may be used for the production of useful energetic products such as biochar, bio-oil and gases from non-condensed vapors.
