An external-circulation decomposition reactor with a high solid-gas ratio using a horizontal cyclone cylinder (3), comprising: a decomposition furnace (2), within which a heat decomposition reaction is performed on material powders suspended therein; the horizontal cyclone cylinder (3), which communicates with an outlet of the decomposition furnace (2) and performs a primary large-particle separation from the dust-containing gas flow, then returns the particles to the decomposition furnace (2) through a first materials pipeline connected to a bottom discharging cone (31); and a cyclone cylinder (4), which communicates with the horizontal cyclone cylinder (3) and further separates particles from the dust-containing gas flow, then returns the particles to the decomposition furnace (2) through a second materials pipeline connected to a bottom discharging cone.
