<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve free graduation expression in an image while forming the image having good metallic luster when performing metallic printing using metal ink. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: (A) a head for ejecting ink; (B) and a control unit which ejects ink containing metallic particles from the head to a medium, forms the metallic image, and changes the amount of metallic ink ejected per unit area of the medium based on the graduation value of pixel comprising the metallic image while keeping the metallic image have the width larger than the predetermined side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
