<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device in which inconvenience of information transmission is eliminated by complementing the I/O of a cellular phone. <P>SOLUTION: Communication contract other than cellular phone is not required when a communication function, e.g. the Internet, of a cellular phone is utilized. The device is a thin and inexpensive external monitor, which is connected to a cellular phone and allows for display/operation of the cellular phone on a large screen. The device is not equipped with a battery, a hard disc, applications, and the like, and data transfer and power supply are carried out from the cellular phone body.
