<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire which suppresses deterioration in uniformity while securing conduction performance and which has less process failure, and to provide the pneumatic tire. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the pneumatic tire T, a conductive part 13 having one end exposed to a ground contact surface and the other end reaching a side face 10a of a tread rubber 10 is embedded in the tread rubber 10 formed of non-conductive rubber, and ends of a sidewall rubber 9 are set on both side faces 10a of the tread rubber 10. A rubber ribbon 20 composed of non-conductive rubber 21 is wrapped in a spiral shape along the tire circumferential direction in a region extending from each side face 10a of the tread rubber 10 to the inner side in the tire radial direction to form the sidewall rubber 9. The rubber ribbon 20 has a structure in which a face opposing a carcass layer 7 is covered by a conductive rubber part 22 in at least a region in contact with each side face 10a. The conductive rubber part 22 is made to continue to a conductive rubber part 22 adjacent thereto toward the inner side in the tire radial direction or is connected to a conductive sheet 70 composed of conductive rubber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
