<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of reverse osmosis treatment by reducing beforehand endotoxin in raw water when manufacturing purified water to be used for a dialysis fluid through reverse osmosis treatment. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing endotoxin-reduced purified water from raw water, at least there are successively performed: an operation to add NaCl of 1 mM or more and 50 mM or less to the raw water, an electrolytic treatment operation to reduce contained endotoxin to 200 unit/L or less; and a reverse osmosis treatment operation using a reverse osmosis membrane. In the electrolytic treatment operation, electrolysis is performed by an electrolytic device having an acting electrode 11 of the diamond membrane and a counter electrode 13 opposed to the acting electrode at an interval of 0.05 to 1.0 mm, under a voltage lower than the voltage generated by electrolysis of water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
