<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a washing effect by performing a washing operation with warm water with energy saved and safety secured. <P>SOLUTION: In a washing operation, after draining water from a water tub 2, a rotary drum 3 is rotated, and air present in the water tub 2 is circulated through a suction opening 24, a circulation passage 18 and a warm air outlet 2 by driving a drying heater 17 and a drying blower fan 7 for heating washing laundry with the water tub 2 and the laundry placed in the rotary drum 3. Besides, a water level of washing water remaining in the water tub 2 is equivalent to or lower than 1/2H of a height H of the suction opening 24. Therefore, while energy is saved because a washing effect is improved by employing a drying function for increasing the temperature of water used in the washing operation, a prescribed effect to heat the laundry may be attained since air flow into the circulation passage 18 is prevented from being lowered by the water level of the remaining water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
