摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish a transmission apparatus which facilitates jitter calibration of an evaluation device that evaluates transmission characteristics of a transmission line, a measuring method for an S parameter of the transmission apparatus, and a gain control method for the transmission apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: When performing jitter calibration on an evaluation device which evaluates transmission characteristics of a transmission line, a transmission apparatus 1 is connected between a probe terminal group 211 and a socket terminal group 212 of the evaluation device. The transmission apparatus 1 comprises an adapter device 11 and a signal compensation device 12. The adapter device 11 has a first plane on which a terminal group 21 is provided at the same pitch as that of the probe terminal group 211 and a second plane, opposed to the first plane, on which a terminal group 22 is provided at the same pitch as that of the socket terminal group 212. The signal compensation device 12 is connected to the adapter device 11 and compensates for a signal in such a manner that a transmission loss for each signal path between corresponding terminals from the terminal group 21 on the first plane to the terminal group 22 on the second plane becomes zero. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
