SHEET CUTTING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet cutting device and an image forming apparatus that can prevent deterioration of durability of a drawing member to move a cutter housing.

SOLUTION: The sheet cutting device 5 by which roll paper is cut into a predetermined length includes: a cutter housing 51 for receiving a cutter consisting of a pair of circular blades; a moving member 52 positioned apart from the cutter housing 51 in a sheet carrying direction and capable of moving along a sheet width direction; a rotary shaft 53 for connecting the cutter housing 51 with the moving member 52; and a drawing member 42 attached to the moving member 52 and drawing the moving member 52 toward the sheet width direction wherein the sheet cutting device is configured such that the cutter housing 51 is turnable around the rotary shaft 53 in a sheet thickness direction relative to the moving member 52.
