<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a camera in itself from moving by operation of an imaging instruction by a user. <P>SOLUTION: A myoelectric potential of a deep cheek of a user is measured with the use of measurement electrodes 92 and 94 of a myoelectric potential measuring circuit, and when an amount of change of a myoelectric potential signal Eo from the myoelectric potential measuring circuit becomes greater than a threshold value for determination Eref by operation of chewing with teeth by the user, processing for imaging such as exposure processing and image processing is executed. By this, imaging can be performed by operation of changing a myoelectric potential of one portion of a face without depression of a shutter button with a finger by the user.
