<p>The conveyor system has container receptacles, where each receptacle is provided with a gripping unit with a mechanically adjustable gripping diameter and a guide path (12,13) is formed along a conveying path for guide element (16) that is moved along the receptacle. The guide element is connected to the gripping unit, such that the adjusted gripping diameter is determined by a relative position (17,18,19) of the guide path that runs transverse to the direction of the conveying path.
