<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of applying an optimal transfer bias corresponding to a printed image. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises image forming means including: scanning light exposure means for forming a latent image on an image carrier synchronizing with data transmission means; developing means for developing the latent image on the image carrier to form a toner image; and transfer means for transferring the toner image to a recording medium. An image forming part comprises: image data detection means for detecting image data output from the image data transmission means; image data storage means for digitizing the image data detected by the image data detection means and storing it; and transfer control means for correcting a transfer bias to be applied to the transfer means according to the data value stored in the image data storage means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
