<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase safety during execution of output limit control in a vehicle executing the output limit control limiting an output of an engine when both of an accelerator and a brake are depressed. <P>SOLUTION: Output limit control for limiting an output of an engine 11 is executed when a state where both of an accelerator and a brake are depressed is determined on the basis of output signals of an accelerator sensor 31 and a brake switch 32, wherein as notification control for notifying the surroundings of the possibility of vehicle sudden deceleration caused by the output limit control, control for causing a hazard lamp 34 to perform a notification operation (for example, lighting or flashing) is executed. Accordingly, the surroundings (for example, a following vehicle) thereby become aware of a special condition having the possibility of the vehicle sudden deceleration caused by the output limit control, and the rear-end collision of the following vehicle is prevented during the execution of the output limit control.
