<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately support a pressure vessel by suppressing deformation thereof in a method of supporting the pressure vessel. <P>SOLUTION: This method is employed for supporting and transporting an evaporator 17 accommodating a lower water chamber mirror 32, an upper water chamber mirror 33, a plurality of heat transfer pipes 34, etc., as internal structures, in which the interior of the evaporator 17 is filled with an inert gas to pressurize the interior to a pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure to support the same in the hermetically closed state. Consequently, the pressure vessel is supported in the hermetically closed state where the interior is pressurized as a result, and therefore, deformation is suppressed against the pressing force from outside and it is possible to prevent damage to the internal structures. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
