<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel battery which can achieve a high power generation efficiency in regard to all of fuel battery cells while keeping down its manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The solid oxide fuel battery comprises: a cell stack 2 formed by stacking a plurality of single cell units 8; gas supply parts 3 and 4 for supplying each fuel battery cell 6 with a fuel gas and an oxidant gas respectively; and a heat-insulating container 5 for housing the cell stack 2 and the gas supply parts 3 and 4. The gas supply parts 3 and 4 include main gas passages 11 and 13 to which the gases are supplied from outside the heat-insulating container 5, and distribution passages 12 and 14 for leading the gases to each fuel battery cell 6 from the main gas passages 11 and 13, respectively. The solid oxide fuel battery further comprises heat transmission parts 15 for transmitting heat inside the heat-insulating container 5 to the gases in the passages, which are provided in connection portions of the main gas passages 11 and 13 with the distribution passages 12 and 14, or upstream thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
