<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for applying a target current to a light-emitting diode by using a currently commercialized LED driver IC. <P>SOLUTION: A display device including a display panel, a back light having a light-emitting diode array and an LED driver IC driving the light-emitting diode array, in which the light-emitting diode array includes a plurality of light-emitting diodes, and the LED driver IC controls voltage applied to the light-emitting diode array such that a current flowing in the light-emitting diode array and input to the LED driver IC becomes a predetermined constant current, the display device comprises a current amplification part amplifying a reference current input to the LED driver IC and applying the amplified reference current to the light-emitting diode array.
