<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna that can be suitably applied to a radio tag using a high dielectric material as a base material and a cover material, and such a radio tag. <P>SOLUTION: The antenna includes a longitudinally extended short circuit line portion 92 connected to a feed meander line part 72 at branch points 94 formed on the feed meander line part 72 on both sides of a feeding point 68 to galvanically short-circuit the feeding point 68 of the feed meander line part 72. A non-feed meander line part 74 has a bypass portion 98 that is not nested in the feed meander line part 72 longitudinally between the pair of branch points 94. The feed meander line part 72 has widthwise projecting partial meander portions 100 between the feeding point and the branch points in a section longitudinally corresponding to the bypass portion 98. The antenna can thus be compact and can implement effective multiple resonance even when applied to a radio tag 12 using a high dielectric material as a base and a cover. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
